9-1-16: LIMITATION ON NUMBER OF ANIMALS:
   A.   No person shall keep more than four (4) pigeons, except as in those circumstances enumerated in section 9-1-15 of this chapter or in pet shops.
   B.   No person shall keep more than two (2) animals in a unit of multi-family residence. The limitations on this subsection shall not apply to small animals such as hamsters, guinea pigs and fish, that are permanently kept in cages or aquariums.
   C.   No person shall keep and/or maintain any horse on any premises in the city unless such premises are comprised of at least three (3) acres. One horse may be kept on premises which exceed three (3) acres in area and one additional horse may be kept for each additional two (2) acres of area.
   D.   No person shall keep any cattle, sheep, goats, pigs or swine on any premises in the city unless such premises consists of ten (10) acres or more in area. (Ord. 0-77-26, 10-17-1977)
