A. Corrective measures are necessary to ensure and protect the general public health, safety and welfare. The provisions herein mentioned are adopted to prevent advanced deterioration of public streets within the City and to prolong the life expectancy of street pavements by ensuring proper roadway drainage and reduced annual maintenance costs.
B. Corrective work shall include, but is not limited to, the following:
Grading and ditching;
Culvert removal and replacement;
Erosion protection;
Surface restoration;
Proper discharge of waters from sump pumps and roof downspouts.
C. The City shall assess all costs of correction or rehabilitation to property owner(s) or developer(s) required to do the necessary drainage work. (Ord. 0-79-16, 6-18-1979)
