The intent of this title is to establish a comprehensive land use regulation ordinance to serve the city of Prospect Heights. The regulations enumerated are based upon the community's adopted development plans and overall city policies and objectives and are intended to serve the city of Prospect Heights as it deals with future growth. Further, this title is enacted by the corporate authorities of the city of Prospect Heights pursuant to the full power and authority granted them under the constitution of the state of Illinois and all applicable laws of said state.
