1-5-27: CENSURE OF MEMBERS; EXPULSION OF MEMBERS:
Any member acting or appearing in a lewd or disgraceful manner, or who uses opprobrious, obscene or insulting language to or about any member of the council, or who does not obey the order of the chair, shall be, on motion, censured by a majority vote of the corporate authorities and, in addition, may be fined not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00) for each such occurrence. With the concurrence of two-thirds (2/3) of the aldermen elected, the council may expel an alderman, but not a second time for the same incident. (Ord. 0-01-23, 10-15-2001, eff. 10-25-2001)
