No person shall engage in the business of electrical contractor in the City without first having obtained a certificate of registration therefor as herein required. Applications for such certificates shall be made in accordance with the general regulations of the City ordinances relating thereto. No person shall obtain a certificate of registration unless they provide the City with a certified copy of their Illinois State Electrical License, verifying that they are a State licensed electrician. The annual fee for registering as an electrical contractor shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00). The register year shall correspond with the license year. (Ord. 0-88-66, 12-19-1988; amd. Ord.
