A. Definition: For the purpose of this section a "skateboard" is defined as a board or other horizontal surface having attached thereto wheels and which is operated or steered by the use of an individual's limbs.
B. Prohibited: No person shall operate a skateboard upon any private street, parking lot or other area open to the public within any area zoned as a business district under the zoning ordinance of the city or upon any street, sidewalk or other open space within any area owned by the city and designated as a "no skateboard area". C. Penalty: Any person violating any provision of this section shall be fined no less than seventy five dollars ($75.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense and a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. Any person cited under the provisions of this section not paying the fine within ten (10) days shall face an additional penalty of not less than seventy five dollars ($75.00) and not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00).
