The existing building code adopted in section 9-4-1 of this chapter shall be amended as follows:
Section A101.1, insert city of Princeton.
Section A105.1 shall be amended as follows:
A105.1 Required. Any owner or authorized agent who intends to construct, enlarge, structurally alter, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure; replace any plumbing system, the installation of which is regulated by this code, or to cause any such work to be done, shall first make application to the zoning administrator and obtain the required permit(s).
Section A105.2 shall be amended to read as follows:
A105.2 Work Exempt From Permit. Permits shall not be required for the following. Exemption from the permit requirements of this code shall not be deemed to grant authorization for any work to be done in any manner in violation of the provisions of this code or any other laws or ordinance of the city.
Building:
1. Minor non-structural interior alterations without change of occupancy.
2. Roof coverings.
3. Painting, papering, tiling, carpeting, countertops, and similar finish work.
4. Sidewalks and patios.
