Whenever an amendment to, or new edition of, any of the Building Codes adopted by Chapter Three of this Part Seventeen - Building and Housing Code is promulgated by its publisher or sponsor, the Building Official shall obtain a copy thereof and file it with the City Clerk, together with his recommendations thereon. The City Clerk shall then notify each member of the City Council that such amendment or new edition, together with the recommendations of the Building Official, has been filed, and he shall call attention of the City Council thereto at its next regular meeting.
