Notwithstanding any provisions of such sections to the contrary, in no event shall any of the newly adopted ordinances be in conflict with West Virginia Code Chapter 8, Article II, Section 1, et seq. Further, local regulations shall not be affected by the adoption of the State Code provisions shown in Chapters 17, 17A, 17B, 17C, 17D, 20 and 46A are adopted herein.
