The Building Official shall administer and enforce the provisions of the Model Building Codes, with the cooperation of the Fire Chief, the City Health Officer, the Chief of Police and such other City officers and employees as may have authority with respect to anything therein provided. He may request the cooperation and assistance of appropriate State and County officers as well. (1975 Code Sec. 5-15)
