(a) The Building Official, the Code Enforcement Officer, the Fire Chief and his designated inspector of the City are hereby authorized and empowered to issue written citations for violations of the Building Code and Parts 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17, of the Codified Ordinances, and to serve same on persons and/or corporations to appear before the Princeton City Judge on a day certain or within five days from the date of the citation, to answer the complaint set forth in such written citation; and they are hereby empowered to revoke, suspend or cancel any permit issued by the City which has been violated. Any notice of revocation, suspension or cancellation of such permit shall be in writing and shall state the reasons therefor.
(b) Nothing contained herein shall be construed to limit the powers, duties and authority of the Building Inspector, the Code Enforcement Officer, or the Fire Chief and his designated inspectors provided by ordinances adopted prior hereto.
(c) Persons or corporations who fail to comply with the citations issued as herein set forth, shall be subject to the penalties as set forth in the Codified Ordinances with incremental penalties for consecutive offenses.
