(a) Whoever violates any provision of this article, or fails, neglects or refuses to abide by and comply with the rules or regulations promulgated to effectuate the provisions of this article, shall be fined a minimum for any first violation of either subsections (a) or (b) of fifty dollars ($50.00), and the maximum fine for any violation shall be five hundred dollars ($500.00) or shall be imprisoned for not more than thirty days, or both.
(b) Each succeeding day that a violation of this article exists shall constitute a new and separate offense. (Passed 8-19-96.)
