No person, group of persons or representative of any organization, in the solicitation of money or property within the corporate limits of the City, shall commit any of the following acts:
(a) The intentional touching of a person in the act of soliciting without his or her consent.
(b) Intentionally using coercion in the act of soliciting by obstructing a person's free movement by standing in front of him or her or blocking his or her way.
(c) Stopping and soliciting a person on a public street who is operating a vehicle.
(d) Repeatedly requesting money or property from a person when the person has already declined.
(e) Misrepresenting the true name or purpose of the organization they represent or misrepresenting the intended use of donations.
(f) Failing to make change for a person after promising to do so.
(g) Threatening a person with physical harm in the course of any solicitation of funds or property.
(h) No solicitation in residential areas, residences or apartments is permitted within the City between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. of the following day.
(i) No solicitation permit shall be issued by the City for more than six consecutive days at one time.

(j) Provided, however, that the provisions contained herein shall not apply to any "boot drive" or similar solicitation undertaken by the City of Princeton Fire Department for charitable purposes if first approved by the City Manager.
