There is hereby created a board, which shall be an administrative agency of the City, to be known as "Princeton Community Hospital Association, Inc.," which is a nonprofit, charitable corporation heretofore organized under the laws of the State, which agency is hereinafter sometimes called the "Board"; and such Board is hereby granted the complete authority to control, acquire, improve, extend, equip, have the custody of, operate and maintain a general hospital to be erected for and to be owned by the City in order to provide for the health, welfare and well-being of all persons as may be in need of hospital care, whether such persons be indigent or otherwise; and for the purpose of the study of the cause, nature, prevention and cure of various diseases and for the dissemination of knowledge relating thereto, and for the purpose of establishing and maintaining therewith all necessary incidental facilities as may promote the objectives and purposes of such agency.
