145.04  COUNCILMEN ON BOARD; APPOINTMENT AND TERM; DISQUALIFICATION; VACANCIES.
   (a)    Membership on City Council shall not disqualify any member of Council for appointment to the Board, but not more than two members of the Council so qualified may serve on the Board concurrently. The term of the Board membership of any such member of Council so appointed shall continue during his term as a member of Council and until his successor is appointed and qualified.
   (b)    The terms of other appointed members of the Board shall be for six years and until their successors have been duly appointed and qualified; and one such member shall be appointed during each even-numbered year prior to May 19, to take office on May 19, of the year of his appointment. When any member of the Board, during his term of office, shall cease to be a resident and freeholder of the City, he shall thereby be disqualified as a member of the Board and his office shall thereupon become vacant. Vacancies shall be filled for any unexpired term by City Council. (1975 Code Sec. 2-38)
