The failure or refusal for any reason of any owner, or agent of an owner acting on behalf of the owner, to register a vacant building, to pay any fees required to be paid pursuant to the provisions of this section within 30 days after they become due, or to adhere to the maintenance requirements of Section 1795.05 shall constitute a violation punishable upon conviction thereof by a fine in the amount of not less than $100.00 nor more than $500.00 for each violation. It shall be a separate violation for each month that an owner knowingly fails or refuses to comply with the requirements of this article. (Passed 10-11-16.)
