The Animal Control Officer or any police officer is authorized to issue citations for any violations of the sections under this article. The penalty for violating this section shall be a fine of up to $250. Any person cited with violation of Section 1181.01 shall have his citation dismissed if there is proof of compliance with the terms of this article within 30 days of the date of issuance of a summons for a violation of this article.
