All owners of a golf cart who intend for it to be operated on the public highways within the town must annually register their golf cart and have it inspected by the town police department. An annual registration and inspection fee of $25 will be charged. The town police department, upon determining that a golf cart complies with this subchapter, will issue a written registration certificate, valid for one year, that must be affixed to the golf cart and be readily visible at all times.
