A. No person shall practice or engage in the business, trade or occupation of a journeyman plumber, a plumbing contractor, or a plumber's apprentice unless he is registered as such with the city clerk and licensed as such with the state department of health. The registration fees to be paid to the city clerk are as follows:
1. For annual registration as a plumbing contractor, twenty five dollars ($25.00);
2. For annual registration as a journeyman plumber, ten dollars ($10.00); and
3. For annual registration as a plumber's apprentice, five dollars ($5.00).
B. The license shall expire on April 30 of each year and may be renewed annually upon payment of the fee. A certificate as plumbing contractor or as a journeyman plumber shall be valid only when a bond as prescribed in this chapter is in effect. (Ord. 225, 9-18-1978)
