There is hereby adopted by the city council for the purpose of regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of plumbing systems within the city of Prague, that certain code known as the international plumbing code, being particularly the latest edition thereof and each subsequent edition upon approval and adoption by the state of Oklahoma, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified, or amended by this code. The international plumbing code is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. If any provisions of current ordinances of the city are in conflict with the provisions of the plumbing code, except as provided in this chapter, the provisions of the plumbing code shall prevail.
