There is hereby adopted for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations, in the city of Prague, for the construction, alteration, removal, demolition, equipment, use and occupancy, location and maintenance of buildings and structures, including permits and penalties, that certain building code known as the international building code, being particularly the current edition thereof, and each subsequent edition upon approval and adoption by the state of Oklahoma, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified or amended; and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. If any provisions of current ordinances of the city are in conflict with the provisions of the building code, except as provided in this chapter, the provisions of the building code shall prevail.
