No person except those persons authorized by the City Manager shall turn on any electric meter after that meter has been turned off by the City; nor shall any person except those authorized to do so by the City Manager, alter, interfere, meddle with, wire around, or use jumpers on any electric meter belonging to the City of Prague, except in cases of emergency. Any such emergency action must be reported to the City of Prague no later than ten o'clock (10:00) A.M. on the first working day following the emergency action. The City Manager shall determine the policy to be used by City personnel in investigation of suspected unauthorized electrical connection. Each meter so altered shall be deemed a separate offense, and each day such violation continues shall be a separate offense. (Ord. 409, 12-8-2008)
