17-606: APPLICATION FOR ELECTRICAL SERVICE; DEPOSIT:
Any person desiring the use of electric current shall make application in writing to the utility office of the City of Prague, which application shall set out the location of the property, the purpose for which the current is to be used, the identity and mailing address of the customer responsible for payment. Such application must be signed by the customer or his agent holding a power of attorney, and shall be approved by the City. Such application must be accompanied by a deposit in an amount set by the Public Works Authority. If in the opinion of the City Manager additional security is necessary to insure the City against loss, then the applicant must make a deposit of the amount sufficient to insure the payment of a current monthly bill. When the contract for electric service is terminated and the City has disconnected such service, the deposit shall be applied to the final bill and any excess funds returned to him after all bills and fees are paid.
