A. The wiring of all public buildings shall be done in accordance with this code or any other ordinances of the city, and no connections shall be made until such wiring has been inspected and approved by the city electrical inspector. (Ord. 409, 12-8-2008)
B. 1. Any vacant property seeking electric service connection within the service area of the Prague public works authority shall be subject to an inspection of all electrical systems by the city of Prague prior to connection. For purposes of this subsection B only, a vacant property shall be any property that has been without utility service for a period of ninety (90) days or greater.
2. The city of Prague may deny connection to electrical service if the condition of the vacant property's electrical system(s) poses a threat to the health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the structure or to the community.
3. In the event that the city of Prague declines to provide electric service as outlined in subsection B2 of this section, the city of Prague will provide the property owner with a list of necessary repairs that if completed, would enable the property to be connected to electrical service.
