A. The fire department of the city is a volunteer fire department which has in its employ not more than two (2) full time salaried firefighters. It shall be comprised of not less than twelve (12) nor more than twenty five (25) volunteer firefighters. (Ord. 403, 1-14-2008)
B. For the purpose of this chapter, a volunteer firefighter shall be considered as one who is enrolled as a member of the fire department and who serves in the capacity without receiving a regular salary. (Prior code § 1-12)
