There is hereby adopted by the city council for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, that certain code known as the international fire code, being particularly the latest edition thereof and each subsequent edition upon approval and adoption by the state of Oklahoma, save and except such portions as are hereinafter deleted, modified, or amended by this code. The international fire code is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. If any provisions of current ordinances of the city are in conflict with the provisions of the fire code, except as provided in this chapter, the provisions of the fire code shall prevail.
