§ 119.02 BOND REQUIRED.
   (A)   Before being issued a city permit to do any gas piping work, the person must file with the governing body of the city a bond in the sum of $1,000 with good and sufficient sureties, to be approved by the governing body. The conditions of the bond are as follows:
      (1)   The applicant for the permit will obey all ordinances regulating plumbing and gas piping;
      (2)   Will obey all ordinances regulating excavations in or puncturing of streets, alleys or other public property;
      (3)   Will refill the excavations or punctures according to standards established by the city;
      (4)   Will replace all pavements in as good condition as same are prior to the excavation or puncture;
      (5)   Will place lights and guards around all materials or apparatus left in any street, alley or other public way;
      (6)   Will place lights and guards around all excavations or punctures;
      (7)   Will repair all damages that arise in making connections with water and sewer mains or laterals; and
      (8)   Will hold the city harmless from all damage that may accrue by reason of any excavation or puncture made the applicant.
   (B)   The above bond shall apply to anyone connecting to gas lines.
