§ 93.12 MEMORIALS.
   (A)   The size and shape of memorials shall be regulated in order to protect graves and in order that graves be cared for under uniform conditions. The city reserves the right to regulate and permit memorial companies placing memorials in the cemetery.
   (B)   Memorials may be no wider than 36 inches, no more than 36 inches in height, and no more than 12 inches in thickness. The sole exceptions to these size limits for memorials shall be memorials for veterans which are designed according to military custom and double upright memorials for persons buried side by side, the memorials not to exceed 72 inches in width.
   (C)   Other than memorials no structures of any kind may be erected or placed upon the gravesite which protrude above the surface of the ground.
   (D)   No alteration of the landscape nor change of grade of a gravesite shall be permitted.
   (E)   No coping, curb, fence, mound, border, shrubbery or enclosure of a gravesite shall be permitted.
   (F)   Other than an authorized memorial, no other type of object embedded in or on top of the ground is permitted on the gravesite.
   (G)   All temporary memorials will be removed within six months of interment.
   (H)   All objects placed on gravesites, even if temporary in nature, may be removed and discarded for the purpose of facilitating the maintenance of the cemetery.
   (I)   Flowers may be placed on graves, however glass containers and other breakable or hazardous objects are not permitted on a grave.
   (J)   The city reserves the right to correct an error in the location or placement of a memorial.
   (K)   All flowers, wreaths, garlands, lights, photographs and other materials placed upon graves are subject to removal, and will be removed no less than twice per year. An annual clean up will be held at least in the second week of May and first week of November each year.
