(A) Hereafter, every owner of any tract of land situated within the corporate limits of the City of Port Isabel who may divide the same in two or more parts for the purpose of laying out any subdivision or any addition to the City, shall comply with the provisions of Article 974a of the Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas of 1925, as now or hereafter amended, as well as all other relevant statutes of the State of Texas, and said statutes as now or hereafter amended are hereby adopted and incorporated herein for all purposes.
(B) The provisions of Section 7.01 (A) above shall apply similarly to the owner of any tract of land situated within a maximum distance of five miles beyond the corporate limits of the City of Port Isabel.
