It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to drive or cause to be driven, or to operate or cause to be operated any commercial motor vehicle, truck, truck-tractor, trailer or semi-trailer on the public streets of the city, with the exception of the streets described in Chapter 74, Schedule III, exceeding 7,000 pounds empty weight.
