§ 92.083 DUMPSTERS OR DETACHED TRAILERS ON STREETS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person, including the owner or operator of a dumpster, or the owner or operator of a truck trailer, utility trailer, boat trailer, horse trailer or any other trailer designed to be pulled behind a motor vehicle, to park or place such dumpster or trailer detached from its motor vehicle on the streets within the city limits.
   (B)   (1)   A detached trailer or a dumpster of any kind belonging to a contractor with a current building permit may be parked in an area where vehicles can legally park on the street as long as the contractor is actively working on the property connected with the building permit, has provided the city with an acceptable bond for any damages to the street, has taken appropriate measures to eliminate potential damage to the street, and the location of the detached trailer or dumpster does not impede the safe flow of traffic.
      (2)   A copy of the building permit showing the address of the property, issuance date and expiration date shall be attached to the trailer or dumpster visible from the traffic side.
