§ 71.03 TRUCK ROUTES.
   The City Council may, by resolution, designate certain streets in the city restricting traffic for vehicles weighing in excess of ten tons. It shall be unlawful for any person operating such vehicle to travel on streets other than those designated for such vehicles, except to travel to and from his or her personal residence and/or to pick up or deliver goods, wares or merchandise. In these events, the operator of such vehicle shall return to such truck routes as soon as possible in traveling through or about the city. The City Council shall cause notices to be posted or shall erect signs indicating the streets so designated as restricted routes.
