This article establishes and references procedures through which the city seeks to ensure compliance with the provisions of this Code and obtain corrections for Code violations. It also sets forth the remedies and penalties that apply to violations of this Code. The provisions of this article are intended to encourage the voluntary correction of violations, where possible. This article is intended to complement the code enforcement system established in Chapter 37 (Code Enforcement) of the
Code of Ordinances
and used by the city for enforcement of city regulations, as well as other means of enforcement available by law, utilized by the City.
