For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
AUTO COURT. Any parking lot or garage for the accommodation of motor vehicles where transient sleeping accommodations are afforded or provided on the same premises for the public or for the occupants of such automobiles; provided that a hotel which furnishes parking space or has a garage in connection with the hotel shall not be construed as an auto court.
