§ 97.22 WATER SUPPLY.
   Every person in possession of land on which a private swimming pool is located shall have such pool conform with the following regulations:
   (A)   The water supply shall be from a metered connection to a public water supply and shall consist of a permanent, rigid system of piping having an air-gap delivery connection located not less than six inches vertically above the flood rim of the pool.
   (B)   Water from any swimming pool can be discharged directly into the sanitary sewer system. Water from the pool shall not be discharged during periods of rain or storms. At no time shall the rate of drain water discharge exceed a flow of 250 gallons per minute.
   (C)   No private swimming pool in excess of 2,500 gallons capacity shall be installed or used without a recirculating and filtering system having a minimum hourly capacity equal to the pool volume divided by eight. Sufficient filter area shall be provided to filter the entire pool volume in 18 hours at a rate not exceeding three gallons per square foot of filter area per minute.
   (D)   All electrical installations provided for, installed and used in conjunction with private swimming pools, shall be in conformance with reasonable electrical codes applicable to the circumstances.
   (E)   No current carrying electrical conductors shall cross private residential swimming pools, either overhead or underground or within an area to endanger occupants.
   (F)   All metal fence, enclosures or railings near or adjacent to private residential swimming pools, which might become electrically alive as a result of contact with broken overhead conductors, or from any other cause, shall be effectively grounded.
