§ 50.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ASHES. Residue from fires used for cooking and for heating buildings.
   COMPOSTING MATERIALS. All accumulations of grass, leaves, decomposing vegetable garbage, and related products which are normal and customary materials for soil compost.
   DUMPSTER. A container that can be attached to a garbage truck for emptying.
   GARBAGE. Wastes resulting from the handling, preparation, cooking and consumption of food, and waste from handling, storage and sale of produce.
   LANDSCAPE WASTE. All accumulation of grass or shrubbery cuttings, leaves, tree limbs and other materials accumulated as a result of the care of lawns, shrubbery, vine and trees.
   RECYCLABLE CONTAINERS. A container made of rigid plastic construction of a household or business including all garbage, rubbish, ashes, and appliances.
   RECYCLABLE MATERIALS. All newspaper, glass (brown, clear and green), aluminum cans, tin cans, translucent milk containers (H.D.P.E.) and two-liter beverage containers (P.E.T.). Each material shall be deemed a separate recyclable item. The following materials are not recyclable and must be bagged with other rubbish: pyrex glasses, window glass, light bulbs, mirrors, broken glass and china; all styrofoam and plastics other than H.D.P.E. and P.E.T.; office paper, waxed paper, cardboard, non-plastic milk cartons, and any paper except newspaper.
   RUBBISH. Combustible trash, including paper, boxes, cardboard, wood, wood furniture and mattresses; noncombustible trash, including metal materials, cans, metal furniture, appliances, small qualities of rock and concrete, glass and crockery; and any other waste materials not otherwise defined herein. RUBBISH shall not include dirt, earth, waste from building operations, industrial processes and manufacturing operations such as food processing waste; nor shall RUBBISH include recyclable materials, landscape waste or any materials of hazardous toxic, volatile highly flammable or explosive nature nor any materials in violation of any rule, regulation, statute or law.
   SOLID WASTE. All waste which normally results from the operation of a household or business including all garbage, rubbish, ashes, and appliances.
