355.01 DEFINITION OF GOLF CARTS, ALL-TERRAIN, AND UTILITY     TERRAIN, VEHICLES.
   (a)   "Golf carts" as used in this article, means any motor vehicle, powered by electric or combustible engine, designed for off-highway use and designed to travel on not less than three low-pressure tires, having bucket or bench seating for the operator and one or more passengers, with a steering wheel or other similar steering device for control.
   (b)   As used in this article, "all-terrain vehicle" or "ATV" means any motor vehicle, designed for off-highway use and designed to travel on not less than three low-pressure tires, having a seat or saddle designed to be straddled by the operator and handlebars for steering control and intended by the manufacturer to be used by a single operator or by an operator and no more than one passenger.
   (c)   "Utility terrain vehicle" mean any motor vehicle with four or more low-pressure tires designed for off-highway use having bench or bucket seating for each occupant and a steering wheel or similar steering device for control.
   (d)   The prohibitions and/or restrictions stated in this article are intended to apply equally and generically to golf carts, all-terrain vehicles, and utility-terrain vehicles, whether or not the same is specified within any or all sections or subsections of this article.
