1729.01 PERMIT REQUIRED.

(a) No well, for the purpose of exploring for oil and gas, shall be located within the City until after a permit for the location of the same has been obtained from the Building Officer, and application for such permit shall disclose the exact location of the well and all improvements situated within 1,000 feet thereof.

(b) No permit shall be issued for the drilling of any oil and gas well within 500 feet of any building or other improvement, without the consent of the owners of such improvements. (3-18-65)
