Public hearings as specified below shall be held prior to acting on any appeal, special exception or variance. The Board of Zoning Appeals shall fix a reasonable time for the hearing of an appeal. At least ten days' public notice shall be given of the hearing, and due notice may be given additionally to the interested parties as determined by the Board. The Board will require the party making the application or appeal to pay a minimum cost of twenty- five dollars ($25.00) and/or in excess thereof for the public notice and due notices to interested parties. Upon the hearing, any party may appeal in person, by agent or by attorney. Decisions of the Board shall be made within a reasonable time after the hearing on an application or appeal. The Planning Commission shall be notified ten days in advance of a public hearing and shall be presented with all available information concerning the subject of the hearing.
