Temporary buildings and/or construction trailers are prohibited within the municipality unless used exclusively in conjunction with, and on the same site as, current and ongoing construction work. Temporary buildings and/or construction trailers shall only be permitted during the period construction work is in progress, and shall be removed upon completion of the construction work. Except as provided hereinabove, temporary buildings and/or trailers shall not be used as a principal place of business.
(a) Proposed Exception to the Above. In the case of mobile food vendors using either a trailer or motorized vehicle that is approved by the Mason County Health Department to prepare and serve food, their business may be conducted if properly licensed by the State of West Virginia and the City of Point Pleasant in areas that are appropriately zoned to conduct business. Additionally, businesses utilizing this type of business must also abide by guidelines set forth by City Council, unless otherwise approved on a case by case basis.
