Upon receipt of required documentation and fee payment, the dog owner will be issued a license for the dog for the calendar year and will be given a tag which will be inscribed with the year, license serial number and the words “Dog License Plymouth Township, MI”. The tag must be attached to the collar or harness of the dog at all times and no person shall remove any license tag from any dog without the consent of the owner or the person to whom the license was issued. No license or license tag issued for one dog shall be transferable to another dog.
