(A) New Streets. New streets shall be paved to the minimum width specified in § 153.060(D), provided that in the case of an arterial major street, the requirements may be modified in one of the following ways:
(1) The subdivider shall not be required to pave any such arterial street to a width of more than 25 feet on each side of the centerline thereof, or the equivalent in the case of a divided pavement.
(2) The subdivider may enter into a contract with the village to pay into the village treasury an amount equal to the cost of pavement as required by division (A)(1) hereof, which amount shall then be used by the village in construction of such arterial street.
(3) If all lots are to back on such arterial street, the requirements for paving shall not apply.
(B) Existing Streets. When land is being subdivided along an existing street, the village may require that the pavement be widened. Such widening need not exceed 18 feet on each side of the centerline.
(C) Grades and Curves. Grades and curves shall not exceed the requirements specified in § 153.060.
(D) Materials and Specifications. Materials and specifications for the design and construction of streets, pavements, curbs and gutters, as required by this section, shall be in conformity with the current specifications on file in the office of the Village Engineer.
