At its meetings, the Planning Commission shall hear the report of the Village Administrator upon the proposed plat and shall hold a public hearing thereon. Following the hearing, the Commission may take action as follows:
(A) Approval. The Commission may approve the preliminary plat and authorize the subdivider to proceed with the preparation of the final plat.
(B) Approval in Principle. The Commission may give approval in principle when, in the judgment of the Commission, it is clear that defects in the plat can be corrected and that the subdivider is clearly willing to make such corrections as are necessary and required by the Commission. Such approval in principle shall not bind the Commission to subsequent favorable action on the preliminary plat, but shall serve as an indication of specific problems to be solved by the subdivider before favorable action can be taken.
(C) Tabling. The Commission may table the proposed plat for further consideration, subject to the time limitation specified in § 153.019.
(D) Denial. The Commission may deny the proposed plat for failure to comply with the regulations and standards specified in § 153.020.
