§ 152.35  NONCONFORMING LOTS, LANDS AND STRUCTURES.
Nonconforming lots, lands and structures that were in operation prior to the enactment of this chapter (Ordinance 6-72, passed May 2, 1972) shall not be enlarged upon, extended or used as a basis for adding other structures, or for land uses prohibited by this chapter. Nothing in this section shall be deemed to prohibit the continued use of nonconforming lots, lands and structures in operation prior to such enactment. However, if any such nonconforming use is once abandoned, this chapter shall apply to any new or renewed use of the lot, land or structure. A nonconforming lot, land or structure, the service or use of which has been discontinued for two years shall be deemed to be abandoned.
