§ 150.02  NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE.
   (A)   Current edition adopted.  Pursuant to R.C. § 731.231, there is hereby adopted by and for the village that certain code known as the National Electrical Code, the current edition, designated NFPA and sponsored by the National Fire Protection Association, save and except such portions thereof as may be hereinafter amended or deleted.

   (B)   Purpose.  The purpose of the National Electrical Code, as adopted in division (A) above, is to establish rules and regulations governing electrical materials and installations in dwelling units of one, two and three-family dwellings, mobile homes and multifamily dwellings and commercial and industrial occupancy in the village.

   (C)   File and distribution copies.  At least one copy of the National Electrical Code, as adopted in division (A), is available for inspection by the public at the village office.

   (D)   Conflicts of laws.  In the event of a conflict between a provision of the National Electrical Code, as adopted in division (A), and a provision of any other technical code adopted by the village, the stricter standard shall prevail. In the event of a conflict between a provision of such Code and state law, including the Ohio Basic Building Code, The Council of American Building Officials Code and the Ohio Fire Code, the state law shall prevail. In the event of a conflict between a provision of such Code and a village ordinance, resolution, rule or regulation, the stricter standard shall prevail.
