§ 96.01 PLEASANTON CITY PARK REGULATIONS.
   (A)   The park will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily, and its public use is prohibited during all other times; provided, however, that the park may be open until but not later than midnight on Fridays and 1:00 a.m. on Sundays. The extended hours must be specifically requested in the application for a park permit pursuant to § 96.04. The application shall be approved in accordance with the provisions of § 96.04. The park grounds will also be closed to the public during flood conditions as long as deemed necessary by the Public Works Director or City Manager.
   (B)   Fishing is permitted in the Atascosa River subject to all applicable laws.
   (C)   No hunting shall be allowed in the park, and there shall be no shooting or killing of birds, animals and/or game of any sort within the park during any season of the year.
   (D)   No flowers, trees, rocks or shrubs shall be picked, cut and/or mutilated.
   (E)   The following regulations relating to personal social conduct will be observed and a person commits an offense if he or she intentionally or knowingly:
      (1)   Uses abusive, indecent, profane or vulgar language in a public place, and the language, by its very utterance, tends to incite an immediate breach of the peace;
      (2)   Make an offensive gesture or display in a public place, and the gesture or display tends to incite an immediate breach of the peace;
      (3)   Abuses or threatens a person in a public place in an obviously offensive manner;
      (4)   Make unreasonable noise in a public place, or in or near a private residence, that he/she has no right to occupy; or
      (5)   Fights with another in a public place.
   (F)   No person shall willfully mark, deface, disfigure, injure, tamper with or displace or remove any building, bridges, tables, benches, fireplaces, railing, paving or paving material, water lines or other public utilities or parts or appurtenances thereof, signs, notices or placards, whether temporary or permanent, monuments, stakes, posts or other boundary markers, or other structures or equipment, facilities or park property or appurtenances whatsoever, either real or personal.
   (G)   No person shall throw, discharge or otherwise place or cause to be placed in the waters of any fountain, or flowing drain any substance, matter or thing, liquid or solid, which may result in the pollution of the water. No person shall bring in or dump, deposit, or leave any bottles, waste, garbage or refuse, or other trash. No such refuse or trash shall be placed in any waters in or contiguous to the park, or left anywhere on the grounds to the park, or in the proper receptacles where these are provided. Where receptacles are not so provided, all the rubbish or waste shall be carried away from the park by the person responsible for its presence, and properly disposed of elsewhere.
   (H)   Firearms or fireworks will not be used or displayed at any time in the park, unless:
      (1)   In conjunction with City of Pleasanton sponsored activities; or
      (2)   Otherwise as approved in advance by the Pleasanton City Council.
   (I)   No climbing over, under, up or through any fence, trees, and buildings will be permitted.
   (J)   No fires are permitted, except in camp stoves or designated fireplaces, without prior approval from the City of Pleasanton.
   (K)   No vendors are allowed, except by permission of the City of Pleasanton.
   (L)   Glass beverage containers are prohibited in the park.
   (M)   Motor vehicle travel on any park road shall not exceed 15 mph.
   (N)   Vehicle travel in the park shall be permitted on authorized roads only and parking in designated areas only. Dogs are allowed at the park as long as they are leashed, controlled by their owner and restricted to the Pleasanton City Park Road. . Dogs are to be restrained at all times and any threatening dogs can be ordered removed from the park.
   (O)   Swimming is hereby prohibited in the Atascosa River within the corporate limits of the city of Pleasanton. Swimming, as used herein, shall include bathing, wading and any other water contact recreational activity.
