§ 93.01 PLEASANTON SPORTS COMPLEX REGULATIONS AND HOURS OF OPERATION.
   The Pleasanton City Council approves and adopts the following rule and regulations to ensure that the Pleasanton Sports Complex is a safe and pleasant place for every patron:
   (A)   The complex will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily and its public use is prohibited during all other times.
   (B)   No hunting shall be allowed in the complex, and there shall be no shooting or killing of birds, animals and/or game of any sort within the complex, during any season of the year.
   (C)   No flowers, trees, rocks or shrubs shall be picked, cut and/or mutilated.
   (D)   The following regulations relating to personal and social conduct will be observed and a person commits an offense if he or she intentionally or knowingly:
      (1)   Uses abusive, indecent, profane or vulgar language in a public place, and the language by its very utterance tends to incite and immediate breach of the peace;
      (2)   Makes an offensive gesture or display in a public place, and the gesture or display tends to incite an immediate breach of the peace;
      (3)   Abuses or threatens a person in a public place in an obviously offensive manner;
      (4)   Makes unreasonable noise in a public place or in or near a private residence that he/she has no right to occupy; or
      (5)   Fights with another in a public place.
   (E)   No person shall willfully mark, deface, disfigure, injure, tamper with or displace or remove any building, bridges, tables, benches, fireplaces, railing, paving or paving material, water lines or other public utilities or parts or appurtenances thereof, signs, notices or placards, whether temporary or permanent, monuments, stakes, posts or other boundary markers, or other structures or equipment, facilities or park property or appurtenances whatsoever, either real or personal.
   (F)   No person shall throw, discharge or otherwise place or cause to be placed in the waters of any fountain, or flowing drain any substance, matter or thing, liquid or solid, which may result in the pollution of the water. No person shall bring in or dump, deposit, or leave any bottles, waste, garbage or refuse, or other trash. No such refuse or trash shall be placed in any waters in or contiguous to the park, or left anywhere Ion the. grounds to the park, or in the proper receptacles where. these are provided. Where receptacles are not so provided, all the rubbish or waste shall be carried away from the park by the person responsible for its presence, and properly disposed of elsewhere.
   (G)   Firearms or fireworks will not be used or displayed at any time in the park, unless:
      (1)   In conjunction with city sponsored activities; or
      (2)   Otherwise as approved in advance by the Pleasanton City Council.
   (H)   No climbing over, under, up or through any fence, trees, and building will be permitted.
   (I)   No fires are permitted except in camp stoves or designated fireplaces without prior approval from the City Manager’s Office or his or her designated representative.
   (J)   No venders are allowed except by permission of the city.
   (K)   Glass beverage containers are prohibited in the park.
   (L)   Motor vehicle travel on any park road shall not exceed 15 mph.
   (M)   Vehicle travel in the park shall be permitted on authorized roads only and parking in designated areas only.
   (N)   Dogs are prohibited in the complex, except for service dogs.
   (O)   No bicycles, roller blades or skates; or skateboards are allowed on the hike and nature trail.
   (P)   No alcoholic beverages are permitted within the Sports Complex area.
   (Q)   Reservations and payment of fees for Sports Complex fields are made through the Director of Facilities and Activities.
