It shall be the duty of the Animal Control Officers to report in writing to the Chief of Police once each month the total number of animals impounded, the total number of dogs and cats redeemed or sold to private parties, and the total number of dogs and cats humanely disposed of under the provisions of this chapter, which report shall be approved and filed with the Chief of Police as a monthly report. The Chief of Police will then make the report available to the City Manager.
