The City Council may, by ordinance, enact parking regulations for the various streets in the city. Whenever parking regulations are enacted by the City Council, the City Manager shall supervise the erection and maintenance of appropriate signs and markings indicating the regulation or prohibition. It is a violation of this code to fail to comply with the signs and markings.
