§ 92.092 EXCESS ROOSTER PERMIT.
   Pursuant to § 92.09(C), a maximum number of two roosters are allowed at a residence unless the owner applies and is granted an excess rooster permit under this section.
   (A)   If an owner desires to exceed the maximum number of roosters specified in § 92.09(C), an owner must make an application for an excess rooster permit with the department which shall be valid for one year. The criteria for evaluating the application for an excess rooster permit shall be those listed in § 92.09(C) to ensure that there are adequate facilities to house the roosters and to ensure adequate sanitation as to avoid pests and nuisance. The facilities shall be subject to inspection by the city.
   (B)   The maximum number of roosters allowed for excess rooster permits shall be one rooster for every ten authorized domestic fowl.
